Had a good ride yesterday got away in the significant move of the race with my team mate Andy Coupe and 3 other strong riders from the Significant teams in the race so I knew it was a good move although early in the race! We all shared the work and before long we were pulling away, my other team mate who made the first move of the day Stu Reid tried to get across but when he had other teams also trying signalled to us to press on we did just that and before long were well away, as the minutes passed by we had soon done 55 mins of the hour plus 5 laps so I told Andy so we could be ready to cover any attacks and plan the sprint. In the last few laps the pace quickened and as it had rained most off the day which was not ideal for town centre circuit racing it was getting quite slippy but thanks to the confidence I had in my Kenda tyres I could press on. I was 3rd wheel into the round about at the top off the circuit for the last time and attentive fir the attack! As we came out of the final bend I picked up speed went round the Endura guys and before I knew it wad over the line with my arms in the air YES!

But I could not have done it without the support of my team or good tyres!
